The Last Little While In Love Land.

Life happens fast- that has been no exception in the last few months. Lots to catch up on. Pictures are worth a thousand words.. So that is going to be the best way to get up to speed on what has been going on. Here is a glimpse what has been going on the last little while-
The Baptism Boy!! Joshy will prob get crap about this the rest of his life, but his fair was PINK on his baptism day! The fam went to the holli fest the day before and he got tons of red powder in his hair. He is such a blondie, of course it turned pink. Jan tried to get it out... but it was still pink at the top. Little cutie!
                                                                    Seth and Josh
                                                                   The brothers!
Steve’s baby brother Josh got baptized .Josh had a very clear picture in his head of how he wanted his baptism to be. He knew he wanted Seth to baptize him, and he knew he wanted Steve to confirm him. He was such a cutie! Just so excited to get baptized and have his special day.

Jan, My mother in law always calls Josh Steve's "mini me" So its fun to see a little bit of what Steve would have been like when he was little.

 What happened next?..

Prioritizing!!..... A trait we all struggle with at one time or another!.. Getting rid of Steve’s bike was a toughie. We had our first date on that bike, he proposed to me after a ride up the canyon on that bike. My dad, brother and Stevo would always take rides up the canyon on their  bikes. But we have 2 nice cars, and we don’t need to be making payments on 3 vehicles every month. So.. we ended up letting go of something good- to get into something better. We knew if we sold the bike, we could start exploring the possibility of getting into a house. So definitely worth it in the long run. The bike went to a nice Dad, who has kids who I am sure will love taking rides on it.

I'll sure miss seeing that every day!

BYE BIKE!! We will miss you!!

and then....

The first time i met my sweet nephew R.J.
RJ. My sweetest little man!! Not so little now!... He is a big little boy. This little boy is such an angel. I am of course thrilled to have a nephew and 2 nieces!! We are very blessed that we have R.J in our lives Here are some heart melting shots of my little man (and nieces). All my nieces and nephews just make me smile and make me excited to start my own family someday.  See http://rjthygerson.blogspot.com/ for details of why we are so lucky to have this little guy.

Now I'm all better and looking so handsome on my BLESSING DAY!.
It was so much fun when Brookie and Stephy came to visit!! I wish you coulda seen how hillarious it was with all THREE car seats in the back of  Tiffs car. Just a little crowded...
                                                                         Hi Sagie!
                                                       Hi R.J! You handsome boy!!
The girls!! Playing with Rhubarb leafs! Just like their Mommys used to!
I love holding my little man!! This was right before he PEED all over me :) ah the joys of being an aunt!
Getting so big and strong!! drinking his bottle!

Every summer adventure needs some crafts right!? :) here are some of the projects from this summer.

Projects. I love these word blocks! In my opinion they are thought provoking and uplifting decoration to have around your house. Also, they are great gifts. They are so easy and fun to make! If anyone wants one-- hit me up, and we will chat :)

On the dresser in our room!
                                                    Motivational word from conference!

Baby shower gift for a co-worker.
Most recent vinyl project. This is under one of the windows in our new house. We don't know how we want to paint for a while, but i wanted to bring some color into the room.. So, this is what i did!. Definitely brightened things up! This is one of my favorite corners in my house now!
Above the counters in our kitchen. There are vaulted ceilings and I wanted to fill some of the space. the blocks say "count your blessings." Always a great reminder whenever i go into the kitchen.

What else happened this summer? Summer has been the best! Parades, Pools, Parks, Picnics, Plays, Outdoors,  Family, Friends, and LOTS of packing!! There’s just something about summer. .Any of you have the pass of all passes?.. Then you know exactly what we spent a lot of our summer doing!. Lots of seven peaks, Owls games, and Trafalga!

Using mommys wood saw, for a project.
Summerfest! I just love summerfest! I look forward to it every year! One of the summer highlights for sure!!
                                                                     Trafalga! at least 50x
                                                                        Summerfest
One night when we were at Trafalga, We were the only people on the out door course. The sun was setting, and it was a beautiful night.. Who would have thought Trafalga could be so romantic.
I loved spending time with my sweetheart! HE is really what made this summer so much fun! Everything is better with him!
                                                               Afternoon in the park.
BATTING CAGES!! I love watching Steve play baseball. In any way shape or form. He just loves it, and I love seeing the different energy about him when he gets a bat in his hands.

Chillin with the fam! LOVE YOU DADDY!

Fun with my little bro, ROBBIE!!! Steve and him went to seven peaks all day! Then we went to the Owls game that night. It was a fun bonding day!

SUMMER WOULD NOT BE SUMMER IF IT DIDNT HAVE SOME FIRSTS.
I pretty much had to drag Steve to Aida, the play.. He was a good sport about it, but I could tell he was not incredibly thrilled to go, but I really wanted to go.. So, he was a sweetheart and we made a date night out of it. I was impressed with the show. When it was almost over, steve leaned over to me and said ”I like this better than Phantom of the Opera” ( he had gone to see it a few years before) So, I was glad he got to see that not all musicals are opera! Maybe I can take him to WICKED next!
